QFAB celebrated a significant milestone of achieving 10 million hours without a Lost Time Incident (LTI) with an event held at QFAB’s construction facility located within the QatarEnergy owned and Nakilat operated Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalaha Shipyard.
The event was led by senior management from QFAB, McDermott, Nakilat and QatarEnergy LNG’s project teams with each commending the team for their vigilance and relentless focus on safety. This milestone is a testament to the commitment and dedication of the QFAB team to ensure the safety and well-being of all its employees. The event recognized and rewarded all employees for their contribution to the continuous improvement of the company’s health and safety culture.
“I would like to thank our partner, Nakilat, and the entire QFAB team for their tireless efforts in making this achievement possible. Building for Qatar in Qatar has always been our strategic vision, and we are thrilled to see it come to fruition with the team focused on safe project delivery’’ commented QFAB’s Managing Director John Macpherson
John Walker, QHSE Manager added that “This milestone highlights the team’s unwavering commitment to safety and to delivering the highest standards of excellence in project execution and that this has not gone unnoticed by our customer, QatarEnergy LNG.”
